After departing Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver, a 40-minute ferry will transport you through breathtaking scenery to Langdale ferry terminal, near Gibsons. When you disembark the vessel, the Shack by the Sea is just a 30-min drive. The road gently winds to follow the water's edge through stands of mature Douglas Fir and Cedar trees. You'll see glimpses of the ocean along with parks, homes and farms before reaching the seaside town of Sechelt. You may choose to stop for groceries here or return another time. It's just a 5-minute drive to town.
